Hello all,
After a decade without a reef tank we bit the bullet and ordered a new tank. It took some research and eventually we were choosing between the Red Sea Peninsula max g3 s-950 and the Waterbox Peninsula 7225 (gen2). Since the g3 is still too new and Red Sea’ reputation isn’t what you would search for with such an expensive tank we decided to go with the Waterbox. If all goes to plan the tank will be delivered in a few weeks
Here is a list of what we ordered already:
- Waterbox Peninsula 7225 (gen2, with ALP cabinet)
- Neptune Apex A3 pro
- Neptune COR20
- 2x Neptune EB632 (eu version)
- Deltec 1500i skimmer
- Deltec 39Watt UV
- 3x ATI Straton X
- 2x Maxspect Gyre XF350
We’re still looking for a good filter roller, I’m hoping the Red Sea ReefMat 1200 will fit in the sump (ideally in the compartment where the socks go) but that might be too tight… Maybe someone here has some experience with the sump that comes with the new Waterbox?
When all is installed and the scape (made with AF Rock) is done I’ll post some pics
