So I got this guy 2 days ago. He looked good and healthy. Drip acclimated him for an hour and put him in the tank on the piece of rock he was attached too. He detached right away and strolled back and forth and settled about 5 inches from where I original had him. He looked really good the first day but now he keeps shriveling up. His foot is still attached well and doesn't seem to be disintegrating. I had a carpet in the tank before and he did really well doubled in size in 6 months but he started to get an expensive appetitive. Anyways I'm like a new mother and I wanted to know if what the RBTA is doing is normal or should I worry. I have 2 clowns in there but they havent been interested yet. My peppermint shrimp messed with him a bit when he first was placed but they lost interest.
Parameters:

His foot still looks firmly attached though

I would watch him close.
He might bounce back just needs a little time :)

And welcome to R2R!

It looks fine. Anemones inflate and deplete when new. Then do this becuase every tin they inflate then get eager in them. Then the get it all out and soak it new water. They're basically acclimating them selves even more.

These are the best i could get as he doesn't seem to want to open up

If he pooped that's good he's hair adjusting to his new home. Let it be for a week days. Don't feed until about a week

Thanks. The lighting should be good right? I haven't seen that BTA need more or less light than a carpet.
