long story but worth the read;
I purchased a prequarantined pyramid butterfly back in mid September from TSM aquatics. Sometime in October he disappeared.. no clue what happened, I figured he buried himself under a rock and passed as I saw some missing scales on his side figured he was being bullied by

So I Decided to order 6 blue reef chromis and received them October 20th..

Last week one went missing, then the next day another.. I know they establish a pecking order but I didn’t think it was going to happen that quickly..

earlier this week I bought some MP40s and was moving around my gyres when I saw a small shimmer of blue in the overflow box! I found one of the chromis!!! Put my net in to fish him out and who jumps out!!!!?!!?

AFTER ALMOST A MONTH THE PYRAMID BUTTERFLY!

both chromis and the pryamid were trapped inside the overflow! Incredible!
I feel terrible for my pyramid butterfly but slowly have been nursing him back to 100% one of the chromis have popeye which I’m cautiously paying attention to as well.

what a crazy and unexpected turn of events!

I had chromis and anthias both go missing 1 by 1, daily.. Till there was 1 left. Murderous species they are. Hopefully the butterfly recovers fully. Any pics of it? They are stunning.
