I feed twice a day, firstly around 1pm with one of the Gamma frozen foods including brine shrimps, mysis etc and just vary them for this fish.

These just get dropped in frozen and disperse as they hit the water. I buy the 250g packets and then smash them up and keep them in the freezer. Actually in an empty Seachem matrix container (i have a few of these! lol)

Then the Apex auto feeder feeds a mix of ocean nutrition formula 1 and 2 small pellets at 6.30pm

Just don't over feed or you’ll affect the water quality, just feed enough so it’s all taken up quickly

Very nice tank as well.

So I’ve got round to dipping the zoa, tried to move it but still suffering so definitely think it’s nudi attack causing it. Hopefully the dip will revive it

The other 2 zoa Frags are doing fine so hope that continues

All, would an emerald crab be a good addition to tackle this hair algae please? Just looks ugly and want something to combat it really. Thanks

You really need to find the route cause of the hair algae as although some creatures may eat it when it’s very short, few eat it when it gets long.

The prime cause is raised phosphate levels which it can use as a food source, which may give false low phosphate test results.

Unfortunately literally overnight my red dwarf fairy parrot went from swimming around ruling the tank to dead, could it have been stung by a coral, can’t see anything on it like flukes, fave fish as well

Sorry you lost the fish, is that tail damage recent, could something have killed it?
