Anyone keeping these? Curious how they are doing, as it doesn't seem there is much news since the reef builder article came out. Would love to hear about any experiences with these amazing looking fish.

Thanks, appreciate the link! However, not looking to buy, just wanting to hear how they do compared to other anthias.

I do not have any personal experience with this species, but it is in the same complex as flavoguttatus and aurulentus, so I would imagine care as very similar. I have those others to be peaceful and hardy. They keep their color well, stay relatively small for anthias, and prefer small foods multiple times a day.

How are the aurulentus? I've heard they can be a bit more aggressive than the flavoguttatus. Do you have a build thread? Would love to see some pics of the fish

The aurulentis were in a display ay an LFS near me. There were dispars in the display as well. The aurulentis were peaceful by comparison. They were in the tank for close to 2yrs, then the end of last summer they redid the display and the aurulentis didnt end up in the redo.

Thought I'd bump this back up to see if anyone had taken the plunge with these fish?

Not at the price they still cost.

Still curious!? any updates that anyone has heard? I've had my lfs watching the availability lists to see if we can get any-but nothing yet.

Quality Marine will get them, but they are pretty expensive.

Just curious if you Have you seen any prices? I've yet to see any for sale.
They are going to retail between $150-300, depending on whether it's a female or male.
