is this compatible with any camera?

This camera should (can't guarantee, but should) fit any camera with a standard tripod mount spot beneath it as far as I know.

The only cameras the website says it explicitly does not fit are noted on the website: "** Canon 1d/1ds/1dx series bodies will not fit the camera tube."
