So I purchased and received my new Nikon d5300. I also purchased the Tameron 90mm macro lens but that wont be here until next week sometime. So far I am pretty happy but I have a lot of learning to do. These pictures were taken out of the box using the auto setting.
Those last 2 were taken at night using manual mode and the onboard flash. I took a lot of shots changing the shutter speed, aperature and iso just playing around seeing what each one did and what got me the best shot at what setting. As you can see I still have a lot of work to do but I am real happy with the cameras performance. these are all with the stock 18-55 mm lens.
