New change in the near future "lights"

So if you all were going to buy/try new lights on your Reef tank; would you choose between

A:Lithonia Lighting 6-Light T5 High Output White Fluorescent High Bay-IBZ 654 at The Home Depot
:plus bulbs $$ ATI/GIN
or

B: Kessil 350we X2
: If i got kessil i'd have to get two.

I'd either go DIY LET T5 or ATI T5. The reflectors and ballast make a huge difference in T5 performance. I thought about doing DIY, but then also considered I would need to create a splash guard, and in the end, my time was worth more, so I went with ATI plus LED supplement.

Ya but looking at the T5 lighting sold they range in the $400+ for a 6 blubs. With a 100$ fixture and guess i'd have to figure out what ballast to use.

Because I have the 24" and 36" model and they're great. Its comparable in price to what you're looking at... and it has 2 channels for t5, built in moonlights with timer. It comes with bulbs but I chose to swap them for ati.

No. I only have the 6 bulb t5. What size tank do you have?

I have a 40g breeder. Right now I have read radiance over it but in a couple of month might change to something else if growth does not change
