Just picked this up last night, it seems to be settling nicely.

It does! I love the dorsal markings, seems to have taken to your bta already.

It definitely didn't waste any time making itself right at home in the bta. I was surprised how quick it dove right in

Skunk Clownfish usually don’t waste time at all. Very nice looking Clown! One of the only Hybrids of the Ocean!

is he named after my online buddy and friend? I had no idea that species existed

is that species named after Albert T (given the abbreviated listing) Could have been another Thiel discoverer/tribute but I’d wondered.

Awesome fish - I'm very jealous. Hopefully you can track down another to pair with it.

Hopefully! I would love to make a attempt at breeding them, as fare as I can tell it hasn't been done.

The Dallas World Aquarium has these on display next to a tank of closely related white bonnet clowns. Named after Albert Thiel who wrote some of the first English language reef books (ca early 1980s). I think he may have also translated das optimal aquaria into English, but don’t quote me on that. He found specimens at a wholesaler in New Jersey.
