I got a new coral yesterday from my LFS. I think it is a candy cane coral. I dipped it for 10 min when I got home and put it in the tank. Does it look healthy? How much will it open up? It has looked the same for the past day and a half. Should I feed this coral?

They don't need fed. Light will give them all the energy that they need, if you have a quality light. They might try and catch some food down the road, but they have to be healthy for this. There is not much known as to if Candy Cane corals get any benefit from catching food in captivity.

Ok I won’t worry about feeding them. I have Red Sea 90 leds. That should be enough. I know it is closed up but does it overall look healthy?

Thanks
