I’m having a hard time identifying this coral. At first, I thought it was a toadstool mushroom, but now I’m not so sure. I’m also a little concerned because half of it looks like it’s thriving, while the other half seems to be lagging behind. I had it on the sand during the first week to help it adjust before moving it onto the rock.

For context, my tank is almost 2 years old, and this is the first time I’m adding corals since I really wanted to make sure it was well established. I’ve been testing every 2 days since adding this one and my Green Star Polyps, and all my parameters (Alk, Salinity, Calcium, Magnesium, and pH) have been solid.

Would you suggest leaving it as is, or should I make some adjustments? Any advice is welcome!

its beautiful and looks happy!! @luis angel , this looks like the one you had right?
it looks pretty good to me, the left side is a little closed but in a couple of days it should open well, the flow looks pretty good too, if you could put a video a little longer it would be perfect but it looks good

Toadstools are fairly hardy corals; it takes a lot to kill them! Looks good to me!

Beautiful toadstool! They are so hardy and a great softie! I have mine on the sand and in a more shaded area and it looks kind of like an open faced tree, if that makes sense. It’s only a few months in but has doubled in size!
