The film is based around a time lapse of the coral reef bleaching phenomenon happening all over the world now. I would love to see the same. It kinda makes me sad to see the rest of the world sort of ignore such a large issue. If I could go back and do it all again, I would be a marine biologist and I'd be studying this phenomenon quite closely. Hopefully some day soon we can being to fix the problem on a large scale...Massive WC anyone? :D

Funny you said that "marine biogolist" as my daughters path is to be one.
She plans to go to university of Hawaii or A&M in Galveston.
I'm already teaching her to dive and planning soon a open dive as we will travel to Mexico during spring break.

I'm so with you squirrel reefer. As a kid that's all I ever wanted to be. Now a days I manage an industrial construction company. Diesel, kudos to your daughter. I think that's a fantastic field to enter. I would consider University of florida's program as well. Will be waiting for the release of this film. Hopefully it doesn't project our community in a negative way. (Snorkel Bob)

Awesome, thanks squirrel; I'll add that to my list for this weekend while I'm doing water changes :). I recall recently watching a documentary following the public aquarium in Atlanta(I think)'s attempt to save our gulf stag/elkhorn corals. It was pretty old though - hope they've had some quantum of success.

I heard Texas A&M Galveston is good stuff - know several people that went their for their business school (logistics, brokerage, etc), and had a great learning experience.

Open dive sounds like an awesome spring break! Don't forget the go pro / waterproof camera!

check the release date, I can't remember it without rereading the article but I wanna say march was the date
