if so then you can place them any where, just watch to make sure they are opening and acting normal! i would do 8 hours reg like and 1.5 hours before and after the noraml light of blues, it helps keep my corals nice and colorful

yea your time schedule is your preference... i run mine 12 hours to get the most viewing time 11am-11pm with 2 hrs before and after actinics i mean if you rise early and sleep early no harm in bumping it up to 9am or vice versa

Yea whatever you do, the white lights and the blue lights should be used together. Alot of times people will just use the actinics (blues) to "warm up" the corals and get em up and moving.

no the actinics should be used alone at the beginning and end of your light cycle and then combined with you're daylights the entire time so basically you're actinics only go off at the beginning and end it's your daylights that go on and off in the middle

Heres an example...

8:30-9:30 Actinics on
9:30-6:30 Actinics and Daylights on
6:30-7:30 Only actinics on. All lights off at 7:30, or put on moonlights or whatever
