I just added a fairy wrasse to my 90 gallon tank. It's been hanging out in the top back corner for 2 days. Should i be concerned? The two most aggressive fish i have in there are a flame angel and a black fin angel. No one is bothering it.

When I got my fairy wrasse, it did hide in the corner of the tank for maybe a day, then started to swim around and often retreat to the corner of the tank or rocks if it got spooked. It is normal for new fish to hide for awhile.

Does the fish look healthy? No signs of disease? Normal breathing rate? Have you seen it eat yet?

It looks fine. Breathing is normal, but i haven't seen it eat yet. I'll keep monitoring. Thanks for the reply.

She looks fine, breathing is normal, but haven't seen her eat. Fingers crossed. Thanks forbthe reply.

Tank bread or wild? I have two clowns that were born in captivity, and they hang out near the top and have never even ventured close to the bottom of the tank. If they’ve only been raised in a tank, they may not know what live rock is.

Don't know. I hope she figures it out.
