Hey awesome looking tanks. I have a question about your fish. I see you have a two barred rabbit fish and a fox face in same tank. I also have a two barred and wanted to add a fox face. Do they get along well together. I have read so places that they might not.

Thank u :)
I have bare bottom on the new frag tank. I kept all the sand from the DT. I figured they contain all the good stuff accumulated in 4 years.

Awesome bud! Yeah, John's tanks are great quality. Good luck with your new build.
Hey Dan, I was referring to the stand and not sand. :) I know your probably tired from all that work in the new room. :p The frag tank looks like it is sitting on some type of ikea stand?

Keep up the great work man. The new frag tank is already full. haha nice!

Nice Dan. Lots more room for corals. Any particular reason you didn't land the sump under the frag tank?

This is Cody btw over here on R2R.

OH lol.. my bad. I got it from Sam's CLub. It's rated for 2000 lbs. Only $200!
Thanks buddy!

Thanks Cody! haha, I know who reeferbean is. You're famous.
I was going to but it doesn't fit. lol. It worked out great though. I am loving the open layout. Maintenance on the sump is such a breeze. I used to hate changing filter socks and taking out those cheatos. Now, everything is very accessible.

They were going at it for a little while but settled down now. I was worried to in the beginning. But if you have plenty of space and rocks, I think they can be okay together like mine.

After a few years of begging, my wife finally gave in and allowed me to occupy the front room in my house.
The room has been used for storage for the past 4 years. I rented a 5'x10' storage and put all her "junks" in there :)
With all the extra space, the first thing that came to my mind was to get a huge sump and larger frag tank.
So I called up John at Advance Aquatics and ordered a 6' x 2' x 10" frag tank and 6' x 2' x 18" sump.
I'll be moving my 180 Gal DT and 40 Gal frag tank into the room and plumb everything into the new sump.
The plumbing job I did for my DT and frag tank is super crude. It's a miracle that there has been zero leak in the past 4 years.
So, this is going to be an interesting learning experience :) Stay Tuned

Very nice! I'm actually setting up my new 180 long in it's own room as well. Gonna be plumbing right into basement through floor with piping along basement ceiling to run all my frag tanks and sump. I know I'm gonna regret the sand in sps dominant build but I can't resist the idea of having mostly wrasses :D

Hahaha nah!

Yeah that would make maintenance really easy. So much room for frags! I'm jelly for sure.
