Added:

Blonde naso tang 3.5-4 inches
Desardini salfin tang 3"
Lunare wrasses 4.5-5"
Harlequin tusk wrasse 3.5-4"
Blue headed wrasse 4.5"

Not all at the same time, however.

Feeding nori, table shrimp, and pellets.

Going to start adding some vitamins.

Any thoughts on what else for a varied diet?

Thanks

Selcon is a good thing to soak food in. PE Mysis, CA Mysis, Rods food, live blackworms, bloodworms, squid, spirulina brine, emerald entre, red nori, and green nori are the best foods I can think of. In no particular order. 2/3 - 3/4 of those are fed to my fish weekly if not daily.

I feed about 5 more types of frozen than this but they're not as nutritional I suspect and they escaped me Haha

Me too, mine's from old age:rolleyes::) I believe, as is apparent by your list, that diversity in food is important for the health of your tank.

Hoeven's/melenarus (which is used more?) tried the nori. I have read that the tusk will eat it (and anything else) also. The blonde naso, desardini, purple, and hippo tang all go after it.

The purple and hippo are in another tank.

Several suggestions - I will try a few. Reading about the wrasses, I find "feed a varied diet" over and over again.

I get the selcon Thursday. I will start using it then. Any great methods to use it??

Is one nori better than another?

I have more questions. So, stick around.

Added two more wrasses today

6 inch hawaiian christmas wrasse
4 inch Hawaiian saddle wrasse.

The saddle has the color of an adult. The Christmas looks like it needs some more time.

Go to the Sunrise Asian market and you can buy 100 sheets of nori for about $8. As for live food...you got a sump on the setup? It would be a good place to introduce some pods. I haven't heard from you on them though. I put some filter media in a sump for you so I'm sure there are some in it by now. Just let me know and we can get together on it.

Thanks spenser. I was not sure that what I found a Sunrise was nori.

Some pods for the wrassesmaller would be great. Text or call when you get a chance.

I would just make sure to put them in a sump If you have one so they will populate the entire system. If not, put them in at night where they can hide in rocks.
