Hey everyone, new to the site and so far LOVE it. Hats off to everyone and there beauiful tanks.

I will be setting up a Fluval 13.5 within the next few weeks and looking for some input on an additional power head.

And any tips you all have found and learned to help me along.
Thanks.

(This will be my first nano, had saltwater reef aquariums before. But out of the hobby for about 10 yrs. So I'm sure things have changed.)

They are such a small tank you may not need any pumps. They do make Nano pumps.

I just picked up the Evo and I plan on giving the Jebao PP-4 with controller a shot.

I'm gonna check that out. Let me know how you make out. I will be starting my tank problem end of the month.

I love my Fluval 13.5. A added a powerhead to mine as I think it needed more flow.

One thing to watch for the on the 13.5 is salt creeping into the lighting. I had to get my light replaced by warranty because of salt. I have read others are having the same issue. Now that I got my new light, i wipe it down weekly with a damp cloth and have not had any other issues.

I also bought the fluval skimmer that goes with the Fluval. In my opinion it is a must have for the setup.

Thanks for the heads up on the light. I've read that also.

What powerhead did you use?
I got mine last night , going to order the heater and skimmer.

Can' wait to get it up and running.
I have some rock in a small tank right now for about 3 weeks trying to make it live again.

Will use live sand and debating if I use the above rock ,or use dry rock I have (been out of a tank for about 10 yrs. Would clean it up etc. Just worried it will make the cycling process longer and have an algae issue.

Hows the tank coming along?
Great! I put the powerhead in last night, and for the money it seems awesome! Feed mode, night mode and the handful of settings are pretty impressive in that price range. I also bought a Sicce .5 return pump with it but may send that back and get the 1.0. I am hoping to pick up an Ecotech Radion xr15 pro this week and get some corals in the tank next week.

Awesome,,,,,keep me posted
