New frags bleached

I got some frags last night. They where put in the tank around 8pm and tonight at 8 pm they are white. I put 7 frags in and 6 or total bleached. all my other corals are fine. Is it something I did wrong. First thing I did was dip them in coral dip/ro/di water. I put them on the sand bed.

If you dipped in RODI that would be what bleached them. Coral dip should be tank water and coral dip mix especially for sensitive corals.

They slimed when I put them in the tank

Yes ro/di water with no salt

Then that's what did it. Dang I always use tank water but I was in a rush to get them in the tank. I had to leave.

2-3 minutes

So what can I do to help them color back up.

Keep things as stable as possible and cross fingers. They are more resilient than most give them credit for but they hold grudges for a loooooong time.

Short amounts of RO should be ok. I generally do three containers:

10 mins bayer + tank water
quick rinse in RO
rinse in tank water
