Hi Everyone,

I am very new to the world of Marine fish, I have had tropical fish for many years and have recently decided to make the change to marine.

I will be honest I have no clue what I am doing, I have been doing a lot of googling and reading posts on here. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I am purchasing my brothers established set up that includes 20+ kg of live rock, 6 fish (2 black clown fish, 2 fire fish, 1 blue tang, 1 other type of tang) 2 coral banded shrimp, dual zone wave maker, protein skimmer, and snails.

Welcome. I would first ask your brother on his routine for maintaing his tank to get a general idea on maintanance. Test kits for your water parameters. It seems he has everything for a tank to be running just up to you to maintain.

Hi Dat673, Yeah he is giving me all the test kits, salt etc. Its everything he uses except the tank and filter.
