My wife convinced me to pick up a Goni at the lfs on Black Friday. I know they like lower light but I don’t want to keep it
In the sand because I have a decent sized fighting conch that is an excellent bulldozer. I’m thinking about placing it here.

I would like to put it on that left rock somewhere since the Duncan and frogspawn are both green and I want to get a different color on that rock. The spot is to the side of the tank which is lower light and it’s slightly shaded by the overhang from that circular hole above it. Do you all think that’s a decent spot or is there somewhere else on that rock it would be able to go?

Here is a poor pic of the little guy for reference.

It was opening before I just did a water change and ticked everything off.

Hello,

Really nice looking frag. You probably found spot for it by now so just seeing how it was doing and if you have any updates and pics. Looked like a nice frag.

Yea I put it in the spot I was asking about. It opens over morning but in the afternoons around 3-4 pm it closes. Nothing is receding or anything but I’m keeping an eye on it to make sure it doesn’t take a turn. I’ve only had a Goni 1 time before 7 or 8 years ago and it didn’t end well. It lasted maybe 2 months and then basically vanished overnight.

here is a shot around lunchtime when it was open today.
