Hello! Brand new to having a saltwater tank. After cycling for about 3 weeks, my tank was finally ready to add coral Sunday (got the water tested at LFS). I got 2 coral frags, a zoa and a green star polyp, and they were both closed last night. Yesterday morning they began to open, but the GSP only opened halfway. I know it can take time for it to open due to stress, but I noticed that along with being pretty greenish-purple before it opens, there are stringy/hairy things coming out of it. Is this normal or something I should be concerned about? I’m hoping it’s not green hair algae 🥺Thanks!

Your going to have to dip those in a 80% tank water and 20% Peroxide solution for several minutes to kill all the Algae that's on those frags. They will feel better after that as long as your nutrients are good.
^ This absolutely.

The coral will probably remain closed for a couple days but the results are worth it.
