Thanks! I've been cycling for about a week and a half, ammonia is finally at 0ppm Nitrites were .50ppm and Nitrates were around 80ppm as of yesterday

Sounds like its starting to go down. How are you cycling the tank?

With live rock and sand, im not sure how to answer that...I'm pretty new to this, I'm letting everything run as if it would if i had fish/coral

Most people feed the bacteria with something like a piece of shrimp to give ammonia to cycle the tank.

It depends on what live rock. Your's looks like it has been cured possibly before from the store so it didnt have much but the bacteria on it. I would use something like the shrimp method just to make sure. It wont hurt your system honestly and will help produce more beneficial bacteria.

Welcome home! You'll love it here!

Cool setup thanks for sharing!
