i have currently 3 tanks ..one guppy breeding tank a mixed larger mixed fresh tank or it was till redtail shark took over and a mixed reef tank 3 yrs old being re done after a bit neglect and lack knowledge on corals ..ive had tanks since i was a kid having my first salt tank when i was in my 20s ..undergravel filters and air stone skimmers were new then ...i even had a sera denitrator when i first tried corals ..nitrates was a big enemy then ...phosphate alk etc were not even mentioned ..saw my first wet dry in a lfs a open layer of crushed coral sheets with water dripping through ..anyway aquarium science has evolved a lot and i hope i can continue to learn on here ..some very clever people on here and lots of differing opinions and ideas ..
