Hi I'm new the the reefing scene.with and fluval evo 13.5 And so for love it I also have a planted tank that's going on pretty good. But I just wanted to say hi and see hopefully some are active.

My most recent bloom after I got my current eflux powerhead also what is hopefully my last aquascape on it for a while.

Looking good , how long has it been running , looks Very new .. have you got any clean up crew (CUC) in yet .. Hows Your water perameters doing ?

It's going good. It has been about 3 weeks I believe. I just started mixing my own salt cause my lfs sold it and it was at 1.023 but I've bumped it to almost 1.025 by doing top offs. I can't remember my pH. But ammonia Is low and no nitrite and low nitrate. I do have a cuc 3 hermits and 2 snails.

Have you added any bacteria when you started the cycle , did you start with live rock or dry rock ? Im sorry for all these questions .. its just .... Well ... here on R2R , we are all nosy and Will want too know all the details off Your tank and set up

Lol it's all good. I actually started with live rock and live sand.. but I didn't add any other bacteria in

Good morning. Can't sleep. We also have a new tank, going this morning to get our first critters. I'm reading my brains out trying to figure out what to get. Just a snail? Snail and crab? My 9 year old thinks I can do this...I don't want to mess up.

Youll be fine with a couple of snails and Hermit crabs (dwarf then) Maybe a cleaner shrimp ( always Fun too watch )
