Well little update and some help please

1. Stand fully built

2. 2 electrical circuits have been completed and Woking on the 3rd

3. Hope to bring the glass home next week

Now for the help as the design I did have a full steel ring around the top of the tank acting as a brace which I did with my last tank

I do have the long braces in glass which will go along the front and back of the tank ( long edges ) but as I was doing the steel ring, I had no shorter cross braces

Now the steel ring on the top is becoming an issue .. the normal “cash “ guys I use are too busy and with the price of things these days with the painting its looking like it’s going to cost me £1000 for the steel top ring

So I’m now thinking of ordering some glass cross braces locally…

So I guess the question is I assume this will be ok as this is how tradition tanks are built. I wonder if 10mm is thick enough? And 2 braces in the middle maxing approx. 1m cubes

If the tanks 3m long how many braces would you suggest please
