Not sure if people have seen this but Coralvue is releasing a new controller. The Hydros X3-S. It is a small controller with 2 sense ports and a salinity probe port. It is the cheapest option to get a Salinity probe. Looks like $225 and you need to buy the salinity probe separate. Personally I think it would have been perfect if it had a drive port as well. That way it could be used for a mixing station. $225 is alittle steep IMO too with no probes.

The regular X3 controller only is $215 so that is only $10 more than the one with a regular pH/ORP port. At first it will be sold as controller only but later on they may package it with other things like the X3 is.

Not to sidetrack from the thread, but is there some other implementation for a salinity probe other than redundancy for making sure your ato is working?

You might also have AWC or a slow leak all might cause salinity to drift over time. Although my ATO will usually let me know about those issues since I have a maximum on time setup and also a maximum off time. So it it stays on too long or does not come on is a given time I will get an alert sent to me. Also you can use one at your mixing station.

Mixing station. AWC.

I think the main purpose of this is it’s a smaller controller at a better price. The others with salinity are the X10 and the Launch. Over $500 each.
