I’ve had this IM 50 Lagoon sitting in my house dry for nearly a year. Bought it second hand and just never got around to getting it set up. Tank was originally a 50g Lagoon AIO, but I decided I wanted to run a sump on this tank. Sure I could have sold this one and bought a reef ready setup, but we wouldn’t be reefers if we liked to do things the easy way all the time. August 2024 I picked up the tank and stand and over the past year have been slowly picking up the equipment to get it running. I cut out the AIO chambers in January, that was a feat all within itself. Those baffles did not want to come out. I have an eshopps 75 sump, octo110ss skimmer, sicce syncra pro 4000 return pump, eshopps eclipse s over flow and will be running 2 kessil A360X with the 24” aquatic life t5 hybrid fixture. Drilled and plumbed the tank this weekend and will be leak testing everything tomorrow evening. Will be working on the scape over the next week or so and will hopefully have it wet by next weekend. I’m working on this tank between running my own business and it’s my busy season and keeping up with two kids, one that is under 2, so progress will be slow, but it will be done the way I want it without rushing and having to redo things I’m not happy with.

Wow, you really had to work some magic to make it how you wanted it. I'm sure it's a great feeling to finally be getting it wet. That's what long weekends are for! 😉
