bought this new leather which i think could be a nepthea or a colt coral. woke up and the leather was just slouched over, picked it up to see filaments, thin filaments that looked like fiberglass coming off of the leather. my parameters are perfect but havent tested for alkalinity and such. i put what it looked like at the seller below. also, in the video i put it in a different tank for visibility.

"parameters are perfect but haven't tested for alk and such", so what parameters have you tested, can you share? Please share details on lighting and flow also. Do you have other corals in the tank, how are they doing? Need more info about your tank to help

I agree we need more information about your tank

Parameters being perfect is subjective. What are your numbers?

How long have you had the leather?

How is everything else doing?

Did you dip it?
