i got this colt coral i think and when i first put it in the tank it was fully extended, after that i moved it a couple times because it was on the sand and now jts slouched over will it die?

Pictures will help. Sometimes they slouch over so it could be nothing. They also slouch over if they don’t have enough water movement, flow helps them stand straight. It won’t die from being slouched over. They are actually very hardy.

More light and more flow. I also wouldn't move the coral a lot. Moving coral can cause it to stress out.

It needs water movement. Do you have any wave makers in your tank? Even in the background, the way those white polyps are standing straight up indicates lack of water movement. The pally's are closed, and you can see that detritus is building up on them, corals need water movement to clean themselves. You need one or two wave makers in the tank.

Its hard to advise without knowing the type of powerhead and what size tank. But several folks have suggested to increase the flow, so its something that you should consider. Maybe you need another powerhead, my tank has 2 gyres plus a powerhead plus the return...... We can only judge by one picture and it looks like it needs more flow.

To make it simple....... the polyps on the corals should be swaying from side to side, if that is not happening, then there is not enough water movement.
