Super excited about this one!

A few samples I took last night. Should be able to get some good shots soon after the learning curve.

I may go 60mm macro soon too.
Waste of money IMHO.
You just bought the best macro lens Nikon makes. No need to get the 60. Just take a couple steps back if you need to. ;)
The 60 is a point of sale in comparison to the 105.

Ha yeah I know it sounds counter productive. I shoot a lot of top down of corals in a 4" deep tank for resell. I got this lens just for that. With that depth I don't have a lot of room to work with on stepping back. Once I really understand how to use this lens I'll reevaluate lol.

Good point. Top downs can be tough to "step back".

I take it "Micro" and macro are the same? Always thought the proper word was macro but I must be wrong. Must be a Nikon thing.

While I politely disagree that the Nikkor 60mm is a "point of sale", I do wish I had purchased the 105mm instead. It is a better lens and when I want 1:1 shots of subjects farther back in the tank, the 60mm is just too wide.

You wanna trade? :)
