Hey guys, I just got a long tentacle yesterday. I had it in a section of PVC in the sand but I guess it didn’t like it. Now it’s just laying on its side in the sand not attached to anything with it’s top facing the live rock. Would you dig down a spot for it in the sand and try and make it happier or just leave it be?

I would keep making a nest for it. They really dont know what they want for a while until they acclimate for a while.
They prefer a deep sand bed to bury their foot. So if your sand 'isn't super deep it may take some time to settle
