Hi everyone!
Long time R2R fan, learnt a ton about reef keeping from here. About to start a new tank so I thought it was time I signed up! I’ve been into aquariums my whole life. My uncle got me into it at a young age as he had a beautiful planted freshwater tank that I’d help him clean. I eventually got my first tank - a 55gallon tropical freshwater tank with plants & fish (which is still going strong after many ups & downs over the years). From there I got into saltwater and reef keeping, and have been into it ever since.
I’ve kept mostly planted freshwater tanks & reef tanks with softies and LPS. I’ve been into the hobby more then ever the past couple of years, learning & researching consistently - much of it on R2R. I think I’m knowledgeable enough at this point to take the plunge into SPS and will be starting my first SPS dominant tank this winter, super excited! Glad to finally be a member of R2R!
