Hello everyone ! I have finally upgraded (still in the process of switching over) to a 250 gallon ~ 300 if you include the sump! I started with a cadlights 100 gallon and through the years have gone through grail and tribulations . I have gathered mounds of experience from many reefers across the world and have gained ideas to finally put together my dream build . The tank is second hand but technically is still brand new. Built by tsa, it has a very detailed and HUGE stand with thick 1/2 inch glass and custom overflow . I plan on it being full sps one day but for now it will have mostly lps and softies until it is fully matured to handle sps. Equipment is nothing short, featuring 4 ecotech mp40s, 2 radion g5 blues mixed in with an aquatic life t5 hybrid with 3 blue plus and 1 coral plus, ice cap 50 gallon sump, maxspect skimmer, two ecotech m2 pumps, - chiller , 55 watt uv, ato, 2 blue dosing containers and apex suite system with trident and dos for dosing ! Also, a custom rock scape done by pristine rock down in Florida with added frag holes for easy placement . Everything will be controlled by an iPad that sits next to the tank . All of the wires and controllers are out of site but easily accessible for maintenance or emergencies. The plumbing matches the sump and gives it a nice touch . Below are pictures ! I am in the process of filling it now . I spent 3 days making 200 gallons of rodi water and mixed with tropic Marin pro reef salt. Waiting on more salt to arrive so I can continue filling it ! For now, it filled enough for the pumps to circulate the water to keep from going stale . Enjoy the pictures !

Thanks guys ! I’ll keep all of you updated .. I don’t get my salt until the 7th though . No local stores carry tropic Marin and I feel that salt is a great product after extensive research

I recently got some Red Sea blue bucket because I couldn’t get the Tropic Marin I was using. As far as the current tank, it seems to like either salt just fine. However, the Red Sea is leaving some residue in my Brute mixing can that TM did not. I’ll be going back to TM when I begin mixing water for the new tank. I don’t want the residue build up in my new mixing tanks.

New update ! Ok so the tank is filled, apex trident and dos setup, 3 chromis in the tank that have cycledwith turbo start 900! In about 2 more weeks when nitrates come down, I will be adding fish like gem tang, purple tang, golden rhomboid wrasse, sand sifting goby, yellow bellow hippo, longfin mocha storm clowns, and lyretail anthias ! (Maybe a few others) . Some of my coral from my 100 gallon are settling in . Now for pictures !
