New MP40- dry side looks used?

Just opened up a new MP40WQD mfg date 1/2/20 and the face of the dry side looks used/worn. Is this just from bench testing them or should I be concerned?

Thanks for posting this and no, your dryside is not used. The surface of the dryside will be slightly rough and this allows for the gasket/spacer to properly adhere.
