Roger, are the new ones any wider?

I have a traditional rimmed 180 gallon tank. After my first attempt at mounting on the inside lip resulted in the orca falling in the water overnight, I mounted to the thicker outside lip. When I did that, the orca stays on but I heard some cracking when I mounted it as I really had to push it down hard. But I am concerned about removing it for cleaning. A tiny bit wider would be good.

The main change is the plastic, this is a hose clamp but it is the same basic clamp as what came with your ORCA compared to the new version
