Hey all,

so I have a 13.5 evo. I just put in a new power head because of the dead zones in my tank. Now I am concerned I might have to much power. I don’t want to stress my clowns and damsels out. I also have 4 Zoa, and the Others in the picture below. The power head is also attached in the pictures. And a grass type coral. Also the power head is towards the top

You’ll want flow somewhere between 5-20x tank volume, so in your example 75-270Gph (max). So it might be a bit too powerful for your small tank.
I was afraid of that.. maybe I’ll swap it out for the lower one. Everything in the tank right now seems happy. It’s just I feel that the clown fish are swimming a little hard when they are near it. It’s placed to bounce off the wall but they are eating and being normal.
