hey all, i am making the leap into a red sea 250! Planning on using 2 red sea 90 led lights. Im not sure on what skimmer to use, was thinking the red sea 300 . I do not have any idea on a pump. Any one who has a red sea 250 could you post your pumps. Would appreciate it!

I run a Jebao DCT-4000 at 100% in my RSR 250, works well. COR-15 is another option but you would need to keep the flow down I expect. Also would need to check dimensions to ensure it will fit in the return section.

I run a COR-20 in my RSR 525XL and only run it at 30%, more than enough for the job. COR-20 would be too big for the 250.

The returns in my tanks are just soft plumbed to the standard Reefer plumbing. If you are running a manifold and also want to pump a Chiller etc then you would need a bigger pump I expect.
