Hi all,

So after help from the forum I’m going to get rid of my old rock and start with a new scale for my reefer 450.

I have seen that Caribesea now do something called Caribsea[emoji2400] Moani Dry Live Rock. From what I can tell it’s mined rock sprayed with the same bacteria as there life rock. Just unpainted.
I can’t find any photos or information about itZ has anyone else seen it ?
I would go for the life rock shapes but this looks allot cheaper
Thanks

I have used a 50lb box of caribsea Moani + 20lb box of caribsea shapes for my 3.5 x 2 x 2ft tank. Used the Moani mainly as base of the scape, Shapes to add some colour and arches for fishes to swim through.

Quite happy so far, after 8 months. No issue with hair algae or pest. My box of Moani rock is quite porous and have lots of holes in them. Good for my small blenny and gobies.

My tank is fish + inverts only. I don't measure water perimeters often.
