4 years ago my daughter asked me for aquarium. She wanted to have it so badly that I buckled and got her little 6G tank to keep some Guppies etc... She was 6 at the time.
And she has been maintaining that tank (almost) on her own for 4 years pretty successfully...
Since she's been such a good fishkeeper on her 10th birthday we decided to give her bigger tank so I got her 50G one.
And then somehow I had this crazy thought "why not have saltwater aquarium then" - she always wanted to have pretty Nemo fish (and I have to admit I wanted it too :))
So 3 weeks later here we are - 50G of saltwater, new wave pump, new Orbit USA Marine LED light, Red Sea rocks and sand...
Although I know it is not the best, but plan is to start with tap water and canister (which came with the tank) and to upgrade later to RO/DI and look into building sump with skimmer.
Now fun will begin, so wish us luck :)
