It seems like everyone welcomes you to the site, but doesn't answer your question. Here is my 2 cents. I also have a limited space below my 90G corner tank, so I built a sump with an old 20G tank and some acrylic baffles. I have a sock, skimmer, heater, porous block and Santa Monica Drop 1.4 scrubber in it. I tried an external Fuge in a bucket that overflowed into the sump, but it kept getting clogged and overflowed into my house so I went with the algae scrubber due to it's small size. I eventually built a Display Xenia/Hands Fuge to keep a couple of not too reef friendly fish I caught. So far this has worked well even without the Display Fuge which is more recent. The cost of my sump was also nothing since I had an old tank and some acrylic already. I will include a few pictures of the mess in my small space and the tank/fuge. Some of that stuff next to the sump is a wine cooler for my Phytoplankton dosing and my NoPoX dosing which is turned off most of the time (only fire it up when I need it for a short time). I also dose two part (B-ionic) in a separate cabinet along with my DIY auto top off. I am by no means an expert at this hobby, but it seems to be working on a budget.
