Hey y'all,

I've been reading the forums and lurking around for almost 8 months now. Just thought I'd introduce myself.

Been a reefer for roughly a year with a lot of ups and down. I've lost a few fish and coral do to messing with my tank parameters chasing numbers in nano tanks. None of the set backs have stopped me in the slightest ( although my wife wish it had).

Started in this hobby with fresh water, around june last year got into saltwater with a couple clown fish (still have them now). Went from a 13 gallon biocube to a innovative marine 40l within a couple months. Cycling was fairly easy after much research and hearing others opinions. Right now I'm more in love with this hobby than anything else I've gotten into. The kid in me who loved nature and the cool factors of sea life is always giddy when i walk by my tank.

Currently I still have the a IM 40L and a redsea 525 Max G2+. I was skeptical about getting the redsea but it was a really good deal. To the veteran and long time reefers, thank you for all your inputs and discussions.

Below are both my tanks, with a couple changes impacting my schedule husbandary has been really thrown off (wife is helping to maintain feeding schedule). Redsea 525 has been running since February 30, i am open to criticism on it. So far it has been my most successful one. The orange frogspawn and duncan in the IM 40L have been such hardy corals and are why I kept going, they've both been through crashes cyano and dino outbreaks.

Still learning as I go, this forum will continue to be my go to for information or questions (if there isn't a thread that already answers it). Hopefully I'll be able to meet some of you at reefapalooza!
