Hi every one I started my first salt water Aquaruim December so it's been 6 months. I've been adding corals mostly SPS and it's coming along and looking nice. But I'm having a little bit of a fish issue and I'm hoping you guys can help me out. The last two fishes I've added after 4-5 weeks of looking good started to have cloudy eyes and die within a week of getting that. I have a 35 gallon deep blue rimless with a pajama Cardinal and leopard wrasse that are healthy and happy. I've had them for 5 months now. I did have a little ick out break 4 months ago and I never removed those two fishes and waited 3 months before adding anything else. The last two fishes I added did not have any white spots only foggy eyes. So my two questions are ONE what is the foggy eye thing ?? And TWO do you guys recommend removing my two fishes and going fish less for 76 days and hope what ever it is dies off ?? Thank you guys so much and I hope some one can help me out because I do want to do the right thing and keep fishes healthy and happy

A fish, (or multiple fish) with both eyes having clouding to their corneas usually indicates a systemic problem. This may be poor water quality, a bacterial or protozoan infection or very often, a trematode (fluke) infection.

76 days fallow will eradicate all fish diseases currently known to science. :)
