It's supposed to be $45.00 flat rate under $200.00 and free shipping above $200.00. Perhaps we have a glitch on the item or you didn't select the correct method. We ship livestock via FedEx overnight. Please give us a call and we will fix it. Thanks for the heads up. 803-788-4445
