The maxijet 400 didn't last much more than about 6 months for me. I have a more powerful pump to mix my new saltwater and then keep the maxijet in the 32 gallon brute on continuously to keep the water circulating. Any recommendations on a reliable pump that will last for a while? Also looking to see that it is lower wattage like the maxi.

How big is your tank?
Is this pump just moving water in the tank or pumping it up from a sump?

Just circulating water in a 32g brute can. I can try the koralia. Want it to last longer than half a year. :)

I use an old return pump that I pulled out of service from my sump because it was starting to make noise. It's a 2,400 gph pump and it just runs and runs. And being in the garage, I don't care much that it makes some noise.

I like the ideas for the koralia and quietone.

The smaller nano 425 koralia is a low 3.5 watts which is great for running continuously just to keep the water circulating. Will give these a try!

+1 on the lifegard quiet one pro series. That's what i use for my mixing station and to transfer water to tank. Quiet and can be used for many things since they are wet/dry pumps
