Hello I am a new 75 gallon tank owner. I rehomed my friends tank when she was in an accident and no longer could care for it. The algae was insane. So far brushing off the live rock and avoiding chemicals. I had a clown fish pair, file fish, and Gobi and 2 anenomies and some coral. Everything has survived. I have added a coral beauty, convict damsel, yellow tail damsel, and royal gamma. Everything is doing well and coming around. The corals seem super happy the algae is under control. I also added a CO2 scrubber to help with pH. I have gotten a ton of help from your threads and wanted to join. One thing I have going for me is I am a water and wastewater operator so testing is my thing.
