Hey there people
So i just fabricated a new saltwater tank
Made it out of acrylic with 50"L x 20"W x 24"H
I made my calculations but dont know if the math is correct, i calculated the tank to be 60-70g tank however i found in the internet that there is a formula that multiplies the tank dimensions divided by 231, and ends up beign
99 G tank. Does anyone has an idea of this is correct? Or based on the dimension can you tell the gallons?

Got it, now i know I'm not good at math lol
THanks for the info by the way, now my concern is i live in a appartment and i don't know if the tank will be tooo heavy for the appartment, i was looking on internet and seems to be pretty heavy close to 800 or 900 lb, i dont want my neighbor downstairs to end up with fishes on the floor lol

Big thing would be finding out how the floor supports run. Probably can figure it out with a decent stud finder. Make sure you run your tank over a few of them rather than along 1 of them.

Will do that, thanks for the help, ill see how the space where im planning on putting it works, worst case ill have to sell it and make a new one ( smaller, this time 60-70G )
And yeah i did a leak test 2 week leak test and came out to be good, no leaks

Imperial gallons or US gallons?

You can find volume calculators online. With your tank dimensions that gives a volume, when completely filled, of just over 103 US gallons.

It should be fine as long as you're not running on just 1 support
