I'm about to pull the trigger on buying a reef octopus Regal 150INT 6" Internal Protein Skimmer (VarioS).

Any last words? Is there a better skimmer for the money?

I have a Regal 200 int with Various 4

IMO, Great Skimmer....and the price...makes it an awesome skimmer...however, I would also look at what kinda deal 19Mateo could give you....

Is there a particular reason why you would want to switch skimmers? The asm g3 is quite a solid skimmer especially with a gate valve mod and pump upgrade to a psk1200

Sometimes I get to go in the back of coral farmers and most of them run ASM skimmers.
Not sexiest thing but it absolutely gets the job done.

I don't think you'll impress most people with any "reef wine" maker. Especially if you crack it open after a good harvest
