We have been testing this new line of skimmers for the last year or so with great results. Expect to hear more soon :)

Ooh can't wait to see the info. Even though I know what skimmer that is as I'm using the same one currently :)

I'd say the same for my 201. It takes a little tweaking every few days to make sure the bubbles are breaking at the right height in the neck, but it really pills out some sick stuff! This is just a couple of days worth of grossness!

Are they still using the eden pumps? That's their weak point IMO.

Yeah, I've read that the 5000 was good but the smaller pumps seem to be hit or miss. I have a 121 body that is practically brand new but after two pumps and having to pay for postage to send them back I just gave up on it. I was happy with it while it was working though, unfortunately that wasn't a very long time. I also had an sk181 that worked well for me, I got lucky with that one. I like their designs and build quality but will not bother with anything running the smaller pumps.

Sorry to hear you had a problem with the small one, haven't run into that myself. Glad to hear your having good results with the sk181 though. Atleast there is a silver lining!

I have dc model...Rated for 300g on a 54 corner with sump under the stand...0_o I love it. I have to empty it at least 2 times a week. I bought mine second hand for 250...I haven't owned a high end skimmer and from my understanding they are 3x the price of these. Soo to me it is top of the line!

Good to hear. They certainly don't have the price point of some of the really high end/expensive models out there, but they certainly have better then average build quality, especially for there price.
