I just bought two new bottles of reagents for my alkilinity test from BRS. My old bottle reads alk at 8.2, redsea is right around the same , but this new reagent from BRS is testing 6.2. I assume this is a bad batch of solution ? Lot # 8349.

Kind of sucks I just paid $18 for two bad reagents.

Hey Blender, Make sure you are cleaning the glass jars REALLY well before putting them into the tester. I know i have had some jump around on me if AI don't clean them really well. Not sure if its the solution but might help?

I cleaned them the best I can. I am constantly getting 6.2 with the new solution. I tested three times and I am constantly getting 8.2 with redsea. I ran out of my last reagents so I cannot test that again.
