Not to scare you or anything but I had one back then that cracked across the front. Seems these were prone to cracking due to bent glass design. If this one is still good then it should be fine.

its actually glassi thoughht it was acrylic

Yes, the outside is glass and like most AIO tanks the back wall is plastic or acrylic.
